Various users emailed to Huawei that, Huawei Data card showing error message – “Device has been  disconnected and is  unavailable”. However, at same place, same sim card showing the network in phones.

Huawei says the error “Device has been  disconnected and is  unavailable” is due to Microsoft recent patch updates for windows. Any user who has downloaded these updates, the data card stops working and shows error “Device has been disconnected and is unavailable”.

After scrutinizing the error, the manufacture found that ‘In all cases data card working fine with other laptop except fault reported customer laptop’. Most of cases dongle getting port in device manager and device manager shows… as other device.

After several checks the Huawei found, there are some media files/ program are stopping our data card to work for internet connection. Some files of these programs able to make modem as other device with yellow mark in device manager, due to driver conflict.
