Recently, we have discussed about Vodafone R227h router, which features Cat.6 LTE. Its download speed is up to 300Mbps. In this post, we will discuss about Vodafone R216h mobile WiFi router. It is Cat.4 LTE router which comes in Black and white colors.
The Vodafone R216h measures 92 x 58 x 12.8mm and weighs <95 gms. It also comes with a LED status screen to view the battery, SMS and WiFi status. The modem operates on Linux platform and is backed by HiSilicon Balong 711 chipset. It has 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM.
Apart from the Cat.4 LTE, it is also backward compatible to UMTS (3G) and EDGE (2G). Its DL/UL speed is 150/50 Mbps on LTE network. On 3G network, it can provide up to 42.2 Mbps download speed and 5.76 Mbps upload. It comes with 1500mA removable battery which can provide internet up to 8 hours (5 users) on 3G and up to 6 hours (5 users) on 4G. When the device is not in use, it can be standby up to 400 hrs.
LTE 800/850/900/1800/2100/2600, UMTS 850/900/2100 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 operating frequency bands are supported by R216h. It also supports dual-band WiFi 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz, 5GHz. It has a micro USB 2.0 port to connect to PC.
