Vodafone has recently launched a new Mobile Wi-Fi router, calls it R227h. It is Huawei make and features Cat-6 LTE. Apart from the Cat-6 LTE, the device is backward compatible with UMTS (3G) & GPRS (2G) bands.
According to the Vodafone official website, the R227h measures 125.6 x 70.5 x 13.8mm and weight is approx 150gms. The device comes in only beautiful Black color. There is an LCD (1.45) to watch the download speed, connection time, network name, signal strength, WiFi status, SMS, and battery capacity. It has a big 3000 mAh Li-pol battery that can operate up to 8 hrs on its WiFi.
The Vodafone R227h is built with Balong 722M chipset, whereas BCM4356 WiFi chip is fitted inside to provide the connection up to 8 WiFi-enabled devices. It has 256MB storage and operates on 256 Mb of RAM. This router supports DL/UL speed up to 300/50 Mbps on its LTE, 42.2/5.76 Mbps on UMTS and 296/177 Kbps on EDGE frequency.
Its 3000mAH battery can provide 12 hrs internet on 4G connection. It can provide 600hrs standby on 3G/4G network. The modem supports dual-band WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2*2 2.4G/5G DBDC. It has 2.0 USB slot to connect to the computer.
