MTS data carrier uses Huawei EC172 modem for providing the internet to its users. Huawei EC122 modems can be unlocked via a firmware upgrade, or you can say downgrade process. All of you need to download the firmware (it can be downloaded from the link provided at the end of the article) for your modem, and after updating the firmware, your modem will be unlocked for other networks.
Note: The process can dead your modem forever. Users need to do the step by step.
How to Unlock MTS Huawei EC122 Modem Free?
Step 1. Disconnect The Internet Connection and Exit or close the Huawei Mobile Partner Software.
Step 2. Now run the downloaded firmware EC122Update_11.104.04.01.656.B704 from the link provided at the end of the article.
Step 3. Accept the agreement and click on the ”Next” button.
Step 4. Let the firmware detect your connected modem.
Step 5. After Detecting your modem, press the ”Next” button.
Step 6. Continue till the setup finish.
After all the above steps get finished, your modem will be unlocked forever. Now you can use any other network sim provider. Enjoy.
Note: This step will ask you for a password. Just use any tool from my blog to generate unlock code and flash code. Put flash code as password whenever it asks.
