Motorola Moto Turbo was earlier launched in the USA through Verizon Wireless as Motorola Droid Turbo. Now, its variant model is available in India through the e-commerce online website Flipkart with a price of Rs 41,999.
The online retailer is also offering several launches offers that include a 10% Instant discount for American Express Cardholders and 100% cashback as Store Credit for 25 lucky users. However, the offer is available only today, March 9th.
The Motorola Moto Turbo (XT1225) features a big 5.2 (1440×2560 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display with 565 PPI pixels density and protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) processor with 600 MHz Adreno 420 GPU, alongside 3GB RAM.
The 64GB internal storage is not expandable; however, the Moto Turbo runs on the latest Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS out of the box and Water Resistant. The phone houses a 21MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and supports 4K video recording. There is also a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies, and video calling is available.
The Moto Turbo is 7.8-10.6 mm thick (curve) and weighs 169 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC.
