Xolo has posted a new video of an upcoming phone from its upcoming sub-brand called Black.
Xolo, which is already a sub-brand of Lava Mobiles, is trying to establish a firm footing for itself in a mobile market that is widely dominated by Chinese brands.
Xolo recently said that it would launch a Xolo Black series phone every quarter. Therefore, we are expecting that the ‘Black’ sub-brand may be released officially in July. Xolo has partnered with only Flipkart to sell the Black series phones.
Earlier at the brand reveal event, Vishal Sehgal, Co-Founder and Director of Lava International, said that the new Xolo Black series brand would focus on four key areas camera, industrial design, battery, and audio performance. He added that the handset might cost high, but the company gave value for the money and added the best features to the handset.
The official video suggests that the upcoming Xolo Black series handset will be a ‘stain-free & smudge-free’ phone, suggesting that the device might have a ‘nanoparticle’ or an ‘oleophobic’ coating. The phone looks fairly slim, as well. In the video, one can see the back of the upcoming phone with a dual-camera setup and may offer dual-focused imagery.
The upcoming Xolo Black series handset will run on the new HIVE UI 1.5 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The company already announced that the smartphone would be priced under Rs 15,000 and come with 4G LTE support.
