Huawei has launched a new WiFi device, calls it CarFi and carry a model No. E8377. It can be purchased right now from Orange carrier of France with a price of €95.81.
As far as specs concerned, the E8377 CarFi has 59 x 49 x 88 mm dimensions and weight are less than 100 gms. It has 4G LTE connectivity support with FDD Cat4, that is able to download a file with max up to 150 Mbps and upload speed limit is 50 Mbps. Other than that the device supports HSPA + (42 / 5.76, 21 / 5.76 Mbps), HSPA (14 / 5.76, 7.2 / 5.76 Mbps) and WLAN : IEEE802.11b / g / n WIFI802.11b / g / n. It has internal antenna and 2 * 2 MIMO. You can manage the CarFi E8377 through tablet or smartphone via HiLink software. It can be charged through a 12V car socket (cigarette lighter). It has also a USB 5V / 1A to charge a phone or a tablet. There is also a reset button to factory default setting.
The router supports FDD: DD800 / 900/1800/2100/2600 MHz, UMTS: 900/2100 MHz and GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz operating frequency bands. It has V7R2M internal chipset and WiFi Chipset is RT8189. There is also an inbuilt microSIM slot. An LED indicator enables you to check the network signal strength.
