After the global unveiling, the Nexus 9 tablet is now listed on Google’s Play Store website in India.
According to the online listing, the 16 GB Wi-Fi variant will cost Rs 28,900 in India, and the 32 GB, Nexus 9 variants with Wi-Fi and cellular, will be available for Rs 44,900. However, there is no official word on when the tablet will be released in India.
The Nexus 9 has been manufactured by HTC, sports an 8.9-inch screen with a 2048×1536 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, which is clocked at 2.3GHz CPU. Notably, HTC Nexus 9 is the first tablet that runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS.
It houses an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and also a 1.6 MP front camera for selfies. According to the company, the phone is backed by a 6,700 mAh battery that lasts up to 9.5 hours on a single charge.
