1. After WP8, many companies try to build a smartphone that accesses the preview of Windows 10 OS but, success goes with Lumia smartphones only. Before this news from the world cell phone market, only Lumia and the HTC handset HTC One M8 for Windows, which is compatible with the new version of Windows 10 OS in their smartphones.
2. Many people have tried the test builds and helped shape the final version of Windows 10, which should kick off later this year.
3. There are many Windows Phone devices outside the Lumia lineup, but until today just one got the Windows 10 Preview treatment – the HTC One M8 for Windows. Today’s rumor suggests another phone will be added to the list.
As the report has it, the HTC 8X will also be getting access to the Technical Preview for Windows 10. It will also be included in the Windows Phone Recovery Tool. The compatibility update should become available soon.
4. All Windows Phone 8 smartphones will receive an update to Windows 10, but merely a fraction will get to try the Preview builds.
5. Windows Phone 8 officially debuted in late October 2012, adding support for multi-core processors, a new secure “wallet” system for managing sensitive credit card and other financial data, turn-by-turn navigation capabilities, support for high-definition displays, a new Start Screen with customizable tile sizes and much more.
