Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy J5. It is priced at CNY 1,398 (roughly Rs. 14,300 / 225 US Dollar). Till now, no word on their global launches. The device will be available in Black, White, and Gold colors.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 410) processor and coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch HD IPS TFT touchscreen display with 720×1280 pixels of resolution. The built-in 16 GB storage is further expandable via up to 128 GB of memory cards.
The Galaxy J5 smartphone houses a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with flash and boasts a 5 MegaPixel front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The phone includes 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has dual-SIM (4G LTE+GSM) with dual standby functionality.
