HTC One M8 for Windows version is now listed on the company website. This is the same phone which was launched earlier with Android OS, but now it is running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
This device has been launched for Verizon network of USA and will be available online from tomorrow through its stores. While purchasing, specify for Windows; otherwise, you may get an Android version.
HTC One M8 Windows phone features a 5-inch touchscreen display wrapped in an aluminum unibody. Boom Sound front-facing speakers flank the screen. It is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with 2GB of RAM, 32 GB of built-in storage, and a MicroSD card slot.
HTC One M8 Windows has a unique Duo camera setup that uses a 4MP UltraPixel camera and an additional camera for depth-measurements and special effects. The main camera can record 1080p video with HDR, while there’s a 5MP front-facing camera also available.
Since it is being released by Verizon phone, hence you will get CDMA connectivity (also GSM 2G/3G for roaming) and 4G LTE. Dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.0 with apt-X, NFC, and micro USB are the main connectivity included. Using the Microsoft Project My Screen feature, you can view a mirror on the phone’s screen on a Windows PC and operate from there; it works over a USB connection.
