Coolpad – China’s brand has launched a new slim smartphone, dubbed as ivvi Little i. The company already holds a reputation by launching its slimmest phone, the Ivvi K1 Mini. The Ivvi K1 Mini was only 4.7 in thickness; however, this time ivvi Little I have a 4.9mm body.
To add to the slimness, the firm has added a 2.5D glass at the front that curves about around the edges, and the frame seems curved, just like how it is on the iPhone 6 Plus. Even the front resembles the iPhone 6, but the device’s overall thickness is the major thing to notice.
Coming to specs, the Coolpad ivvi Little i is powered by a Snapdragon 410 (quad-core 1.2 GHz) processor and coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch AMOLED (2.5D panel) touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution. The built-in 16GB storage is further not expandable.
The ivvi Little I smartphone houses an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The phone includes 3G, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality.
Interestingly, the Coolpad Ivvi Little I comes in gold, black, and silver colors, similar to color variants of the iPhone 6. There are two variants of this device, standard, and premium. The standard edition will be sold in 1999 Yuan (about $322), but you have to $35 extra for the premium edition. Currently, it will be sold out in China through only JD.com.
