Oppo has announced its flagship smartphone for India, the R5. The world’s slimmest smartphone will be available in India for pre-booking from January 1, 2015, for Rs 29,990.
Oppo R5 comes with a stainless steel body, micro-arc frame, with just 4.85mm thick. It features a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, and runs on Color OS 2.0 (based on Android 4.4 KitKat). It houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Along with 4G LTE connectivity, 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage are other highlights of the Oppo R5.
