BQ has listed a new smartphone on the Indian website, the S40. There is no pricing and availability details are available till now.
The BQ S40 sports a 5-inch HD OGS (720×1280 pixels) IPS touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.3Ghz Quad-Core (MTK6582M chipset) processor. It runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS with WEUI 2.0 UI. The phone houses a 5-megapixel AF rear shooter with flash and boasts a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The 1800mAh Li-ion battery of BQ S40 is rated for 12 hrs of talk-time and 500 hrs of standby. The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, FM, and USB. The 3G handset is equipped with 1GB of RAM and has 4GB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.
