BQ‘s Aquaris E4.5 Android version is gone for sale in Spain with a price of €149.90. Now, Ubuntu Edition has been announced and will cost 169.90 Euros. It will be available in Europe, including 3 Sweden, amena.com, giffgaff, and Portugal Teleco, offering SIM bundles at purchase.
The world’s first Ubuntu smartphone – the Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition will be available across Europe from BQ.com through a series of Flash Sales over the coming weeks. The date, time, and URL for the first Flash Sale will be announced through Ubuntu and bqreaders on Twitter and Ubuntu G+ and Ubuntu Facebook within the next week.

The Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition phone has a 4.5-inch (540×960 pixels) touchscreen display. It houses an 8 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, while there is a 5 MP front-facing camera is also available. A MediaTek chipset powers it with a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, aided by 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage, and the handset comes with dual-SIM support.
