Asus has officially launched the Asus ZenFone 4 in India with two variant models, the 4-inch (A400CG) model priced at Rs 5999 and the 4.5-inch (A450CG) model announced without a price. Earlier also, the company has listed ZenFone 5 without a price tag.
According to Asus’s official website, ZenFone 4 sports a 4-inches touchscreen TFT display with a Capacitive Multi-touch panel and WVGA 800×480 pixels of resolution. The display features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 damage and scratch-resistant.
The Asus ZenFone 4 boasts an Intel Atom Z2520 processor, which is clocked at 1.2 GHz of speed and coupled with 1 GB LPDDR2 RAM. The Asus ZenFone 4 houses a 5-Megapixel rear primary camera, comes with an 0.3 MP VGA frontal camera for video calling. The camera features PixelMaster technology, the PixelMaster is a unique ASUS-developed technology that combines software, hardware and optical design to deliver incredible image quality. With PixelMaster, your smartphone can produce professional quality photos and, best of all, it’s with you all the time so you can capture every moment.
The Asus ZenFone 4 runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS, with ZenUI as front-end. According to the company, the Asus ZenUI uses intelligence technology, the personal attitude, and the better life. The company also confirms it can be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat using ZenUI.
The phone will be available in Charcoal Black/Pearl White/Cherry Red variant colors. Measuring 124.42 x 61.44 x 11.5 mm (LxWxH), the device weighs is 115 g (with battery).
The Asus ZenFone 4 comes with 8GB EMMC Flash internal storage, which can be upgraded with up to 64 GB of an external MicroSD card. The manufacturer is also offering 5 GB of free lifetime ASUS Web Storage.
The smartphone comes with INTEL XMM6360 inbuilt modem; features UMTS/WCDMA/HSPA+ upload speed 5.76 Mbps/download speed 42 Mbps, DC-HSPA+ Uplink 5.76 Mbps/Downlink 42 Mbps, 3G/UMTS 850/900/1900/2100 and 2G/EDGE/GPRS/GSM 850/900/1800/1900 operating frequency bands.
3.5mm audio slot, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0 (EDR and A2DP profiles) and Dual Micro SIM card are main connectivity options in this Asus ZenFone 4.
GPS, GLONASS and AGPS navigation supported cellphone has Proximity and Motion Sensors.
The Asus ZenFone 4 comes with 1200 /1600 mAh Lithium battery, rated for 192 hours standby time, and 10.1 hours talk-time.
