Asus – the manufacturer of Computer and SmartPhone, has announced ZenFone 6, along with ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 4. Notably, The 8 GB variant model of ZenFone 5 has been priced at Rs 9999, while the 16GB storage variant pricing has not yet been announced. The ZenFone 6 has been priced at Rs 16999 for its 16GB storage variant; however, the 32 GB variant model price has not been revealed yet.
These all Asus phones, which is mentioned above, runs on outdated Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box, while the company’s ZenUI skin on top of OS. The company also confirms about Android 4.4 KitKat update in the future.
According to the Asus official website, the ZenFone 6 measurement is 166.9 x 84.3 x 9.9 mm (LxWxH), is available in Charcoal Black/Pearl White/Cherry Red/Champagne Gold colors with 196 gm weight.
The Asus ZenFone 6 sports a 6-inches (HD 1280×720 pixels of resolution) IPS display with a Capacitive Multi-touch panel.
The Asus ZenFone 6 boasts an Intel Atom Z2580 ( 2.0 GHz ) CPU, coupled with 2 GB LPDDR2 RAM.
The smartphone comes with 16GB/32GB eMMC Flash memory, alongside 5GB free lifetime ASUS WebStorage.
In connectivity options, the phone includes a 3.5mm audio jack, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0+EDR +A2DP, and Dual Micro SIM card.
UMTS/WCDMA DC-HSPA+ UL 5.76 Mbps/DL 42 Mbps, 3G UMTS 850/900/1900/2100, and 2G EDGE/GPRS/GSM 850/900/1800/1900 operating frequency bands are supported by Asus ZenFone 6.
The cellphone is powered by a 3300 mAh Lithium battery, rated for 398 hours(3G) standby time or 28 hours(3G) talk-time. The Asus ZenFone 6 houses a Rear 13 Mega-Pixel with PixelMaster technology, also has a Front 2 Mega-Pixel on-board for video calling and selfies. The device features E-Compass/Gyroscope/Proximity sensors.
