Xolo has kicked off the new year with the launch of a new smartphone, dubbed as Q700 Club. It is listed in the company website with a price of Rs. 6,999.

The Xolo Q700 Club sports dual front speakers, also offers free unlimited music and video downloads for 3 months on pre-installed Hungama Music app. Another notable feature of this smartphone is that it comes with IP55 certification that protects the handset from dust and water.

The Xolo Q700 Club is a dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) device that features dual standby functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It sports a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display with a pixel density of 218ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor and further coupled with 1GB of RAM, alongside Mali-400 MP2 GPU.

The Q700 Club comes with 8GB inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary VGA front-facing camera also on-board, that supports operator video calling. The primary camera features scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, best shot, Smile shot, and HDR options.

The Xolo Q700 Club supports accelerometer, ambient light and proximity sensors. Connectivity options include 3G, GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The phone is fueled by a 2000mAh battery, which according to the company, rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time or up to 550 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It measures 134.6x67x10.8mm and will be available in Black & White variant colours.

In December, Xolo has launched Q900s Plus for Rs. 8,299. It comes with 4.7-inch HD IPS display, MSM 8212 Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, Quad Core 1.2 GHz processor, Qualcomm Adreno 302 GPU and 1 GB RAM.
