Verizon has quietly added a new low-cost Android tablet to its roster, dubbed the Ellipsis 8. It is an 8.1-inch XLTE-ready device with mid-range hardware.
The Ellipsis 8 features an 8.1-inch touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and packs a powerful battery of 5000 mAh capacity. The slate houses a 5 megapixel back camera and also supports 4G LTE connectivity while running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.
The Ellipsis 8 retails for $250 outright or $10.41 per month for 24 months. Customers can also get up the tablet for $149.99 with a two-year service agreement.
