Celkon has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as Celkon Millennia Epic Q550. It will be available in India for Rs 9999, in black and white variant colors only.
The new smartphone features a 5.5-inches IPS LCD with 720 x 1280 pixels (~267 PPI pixel density) of resolution and 16M color depth. It comes with a Dual SIM slot (WCDMA+GSM) and supports dual standby functionality. The handset measures 152 x 76 x 7.9 mm and weighs 143.8 gms.
The Celkon Millennia Epic Q550 houses an 8-megapixels (3264 x 2448 pixels) rear-facing camera with LED flash and boasts a 2MP secondary camera front. The cellphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, powered by a Mediatek MT6582 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It is further coupled with the Mali-400 GPU.
The Millennia Epic Q550 is equipped with 16 GB of internal storage, and a further expansion slot is also available, which supports up to 64 GB of MicroSD card. It sports a Li-Ion 3500 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity options, Celkon Q550 include; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, 3G HSPA+, MicroUSB v2.0, FM radio, GPS, and A-GPS. It also supports Accelerometer and proximity sensors.
