Swipe has launched a new smartphone in India, dubbed Swipe Konnect 3. It has put the crown of the cheapest smartphone in India. Earlier, Jivi JSP 20 was launched in India with a price of Rs 1999, which was running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS. However, the Konnect 3 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and also has better specs.
The Swipe Konnect 3 comes in black color and also has a dual-micro-SIM slot. It houses a 2-megapixel rear camera for video recording. This is a 2G smartphone, has connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm sound jack. It also features G-Sensor.
The Swipe Konnect 3 measures 116 x 63 x 11.3 mm and sports a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display with 320×480 pixels of resolution. The phone is backed by a 1250 mAh Li-Ion battery and has 256 MB RAM. The built-in 512 MB storage is further expandable with up to 16 GB of MicroSD card.
The smartphone runs Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor.
