Lava Iris 400 colour with 4-inch Display and 512 MB RAM in India at Rs. 5,499

Lava has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as Iris 400 colour. It can be purchased through the company store with a price of Rs 5,499, which is higher than its specs.

The Lava Iris 400 colour features 4-inch WVGA (480*800 pixels) touchscreen display with 223 PPI and 256K color depth. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and coupled with Mali 400 MP GPU, alongside 512MB of RAM. It is running on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box.

The Iris 400 colour supports Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality. It has 4GB built-in storage that is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. The phone houses a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, and a VGA front-facing camera is fixed for video chatting.

The Lava Iris 400 color is backed by a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery rated for talk-time up to 11 hrs 10 minutes (2G) / 9 hrs 25 minutes (3G) standby up to 250 hours. Connectivity options include FM Radio with RDS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, micro-USB, hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, and 3G. It measures 127 X 64.4 X 9.35 mm.

Recently, Lava has launched Iris Fuel 60 with a 4000mAh battery and 1.3GHz quad-core processor in India for just Rs. 8,888. It has a 5-inch display, 1GB RAM, and also 8GB ROM.
