Inspired by Wi-Fi hotspots in mobiles, Huawei has introduced a 4G-LTE enabled Wireless Device for cars, called it CarFi.
The Huawei CarFi comes in dynamic speed red, warm family wood, and fashion elite black color variant; however, there is no word on its pricing and global availability details.
The CarFi features Cat.4 LTE and turns the car into a hotspot via SIM. It can provide download speed up to 150 Mbps, while upload speed is 50 Mbps.
The device can connect up to 10 WiFi-enabled devices and can charge via its USB port. It can be fitted into the DC port, which is available in most cars and controlled remotely from smartphones (Android and iOS) using the company’s Huawei Hi-link Application.
This device is made of Fire Proof materials with carbon fiber finishing. An Auto-grade Power management System powers it. In case there are no compatible devices found around the Huawei CarFi, it turns off automatically.
