As of now, the HTC One (M8 Eye) is only listed in China and is for pre-order at CNY 3,999. According to the official listing, the new One-series smartphone will be officially launched on October 15. To pre-order, the company is also offering a bundled Dot View case.

Notably, the listing does not reveal the specifications of the new smartphone. However, it includes promotional images that suggest One (M8 Eye) will feature new Eye Experience mobile imaging software features released on the HTC Desire Eye.

At first look, the HTC One M8 Eye looks identical to its standard variant One M8. The specs are almost the same as its previous model, One M8. It comes with a 5.0-inch full-HD touchscreen display powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU with 2 GB RAM.

It has 16 GB internal memory, further expandable with up to 128 GB of MicroSD cards. It is equipped with a duo camera setup; at the back, it comes with a standard 13 MP sensor instead of the 4 MP UltraPixel sensor, while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera is available for selfies.

The One M8 Eye also features HTC’s new Eye Experience, dual-SIM functionality, a 3D shooting mode, and 4G LTE connectivity. The handset will be released internationally soon. There is no word about its operating system; perhaps it runs on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.
