HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM smartphone has been launched in India with a price of Rs 18990 and will be available in the market starting in October 2014.
As the name suggests, HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM supports dual-SIM and features both nano sim slot. It sports a 5.5 inch HD (720 pixels) touchscreen display and measures 156.6 x 78.7 x 7.9 mm. With a weight of 165 gm, it is powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM.
The new Desire 816 runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with HTC Sense and BlinkFeed on the top. It carries an 8GB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 128 GB of MicroSD cards. It packs a 2600mAh battery rated for up to 21 hours for 3G talk-time or up to 614 hours of standby time.
HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM includes; 3G, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.5G, and 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options.
