The built-in portable hotspot option is advantageous if you want to share the mobile internet with your friend/family. In each smartphone, there is a function that is called a portable hotspot, which is basically used to share the internet of your phone. Through the BlackBerry DTEK50 phone, you can also share the internet.
How to share the internet of BlackBerry DTEK50 with other phones/computers?
1. Touch Apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Tap More under Settings.
4. Under More, touch Tethering & Mobile Hotspot.
5. Touch Set up Mobile Hotspot.
6. A window will appear, where you can edit the Network SSID and Password. Tap to edit, delete the existing text, and write the new text as per your wish. This Network, SSID, and password combination will be used to connect with this phone.
7. Once you have modified the Network SSID and Password, tap Save.
Now, you have successfully configured a mobile hotspot in your BlackBerry DTEK50.
8. Finally, move the Mobile Hotspot slider from OFF to ON to start sharing the internet / turning on the Mobile Hotspot.
