Firefly Mobile has launched a new phablet in the Philippines dubbed Intense 64 LTE. It is priced at just Php 7,999 (Roughly 181 US Dollar / 11,500 INR) and teasing on the Facebook page.
The Firefly Mobile Intense 64 LTE runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS, which is upgradable to the new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It features a big 5.5-inch HD IPS-PLUS display with OGS Full Lamination, Dragontrail glass by Asahi, ultra-thin but scratch and damage-resistant. It also has a 7-color customizable notification LED.
The Intense 64 LTE is powered by MediaTek’s MT6732 64-Bit 1.5GHz 4-Core ARMv8 Cortex-A53 processor and Mail-T760 Graphics core, which is similar to the GPU found in Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It also has 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.
The 16 GB flash memory of Firefly Mobile Intense 64 LTE is further expandable with an external MicroSD card. It houses a 13 MP rear shooter with f/2.2 BSI Image Sensor and 1080P video recording support. The smartphone also houses an 8-megapixels front camera with an f/2.8 Samsung BSI Image Sensor.
The dual 4G-LTE Firefly Mobile Intense 64 LTE has a standard SIM slot and a micro-SIM slot. It also has a Smart PS audio processor by NXP and a high-quality speaker for those super clear AMPED tunes. It is equipped with an accelerometer, orientation, magnetometer, proximity, and light sensors.
In terms of connectivity options, the Firefly Mobile Intense 64 LTE includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, Quick acquisition GPS, OTG, HotKnot, and OTA (Over-the-air software update). A 2,800mAh removable Lithium Polymer battery backs it. It is also Adaptive Fast Charging Capable. It comes in black and white in different colors.
