Iball has listed a new tablet in its Indian official website Edu-Slide i1017, specially designed for educational purposes. Its official price is Rs 14,999. iBall Edu-Slide Tablet PC is the first computing device in India dedicated to education. A group of IIT-ins has specially developed educational content.
Iball Edu-Slide i1017 boasts with Big Screen of 25.6cm (10.1”), Dual-Core 1.5GHz processor, and 1GB DDR 3 RAM. This tablet’s content is powered by e-Teach, created by a group of IITians who had been working for over the last 5 years to bring something beneficial for students and is presented in a manner that makes education easy to understand as well as interesting to learn.

The Edu-Slide i1017 is a full capacitive Multi-Touch 25.65cm (10.1”) IPS HD screen (1280*800) display tablet. It supports ARM Cortex A9 Dual Core 1.5GHz Processor (CPU) and Quad Core Mali 400 Graphic Processor (GPU). An 8000mAh Lithium-ion battery powers it. It sports a 2 Mega Pixel rear camera and a front VGA camera available for video calling.
iBall Edu-Slide i1017 featured with 1GB DDR 3 RAM, whereas its built-in storage capacity is 8 GB. Its storage memory can be increased via a micro SD Slot with up to 32 GB. This tablet supports music Player with MP3, HD Video playback, and other popular formats. Wi-Fi 802.11 b\g\n, Bluetooth, Micro USB OTG and Host Port, HDMI Port, 3G on Data Card through USB Dongle are other features of this tab.
