Asus has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as Zenfone C. It will soon be available in Malaysia for RM 349. However, the company has not confirmed its global availability details yet.
The Asus Zenfone C (ZC451CG) comes in black, white, and red variant colors, features a 4.5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) LED IPS TFT touchscreen display with anti-fingerprint coating technology. The handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Zenfone C runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ASUS Zen UI 1.1 on the top, has a dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) slot that features dual standby. It also has an 8GB internal storage that is further expandable with up to 64 GB MicroSD card. The firm also offers 5GB of free ASUS WebStorage for life with an additional 11 GB for the first year.
Zenfone C houses a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and also boasts a 0.3 MP front shooter for video calling. A 2100mAh Li-ion removable battery fuels it. The connectivity options include FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, and AGPS. It measures 136.5 x 67 x 10.9 mm with 149 gms weight.
