Nokia, now comes under Microsoft brand, has launched its 4G LTE smartphone, the Lumia 638, in India with a price Rs. 8,299 (about 131.193 USD).

The Nokia Lumia 638 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad Core processor. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan and 1 GB of RAM. Along with 4G LTE connectivity, it has 8 GB internal storage that is further expandable with up to 128 GB of microSD card.

The Lumia 638 houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and Flash, but there is no front-facing camera for video calling. It is fueled by a 1830 mAH battery that is rated for 480 hrs of standby life. Connectivity options include FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS and 3G. The handset measures 129.5×66.7×9.2 mm and weighs 134 gms.
