Xiaomi Mi-4 with 64 GB ROM Launched in India at Rs. 23,999

Xiaomi‘s flagship smartphone, the Mi-4 with 64 GB internal storage, will go on sale in India with a price of Rs 23,999, confirmed by Mi India through its Facebook page. Like its 16 GB storage variant, which is priced at Rs. 19,999 (sell will start tomorrow), 64 GB storage model will also be available through Flipkart only. The bigger storage model will be available in India from February 24.

Today, OnePlus has also announced that the ‘One’ will be available tomorrow without any invite on Amazon India from 10 am. There will be limited stocks.

In terms of hardware and pricing, the OnePlus One wins marginally as it has been priced at Rs. 21,999 only, which is Rs 2,000 cheaper than the Mi-4 64 GB storage, and it also comes with 4G LTE.

The Mi-4 comes with a stainless steel frame wrapped around the body with chamfered edges. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display. The smartphone is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage with no option for expandable memory via a MicroSD card. It will also run MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4 KitKat, which is further upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop soon.

The Mi-4 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8, and Sony IMX214 six-element lens. It has the ability to record 4K videos. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.8 sensor size and an 80-degree wide-angle lens (Sony IMX219), which will result in better selfies and video calling.

The connectivity options include 3G, dual-band WiFi, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth, and GPS. Under the hood, there is a big 3,080 mAh battery installed.
