Karbonn has unveiled a new 2G smartphone, dubbed as A66. It is listed on the company website and goes on sale in India through the e-commerce website Amazon with a Rs 2,736 + Rs 350 delivery charge.
The Karbonn Smart A66 features 2G connectivity and supports dual SIM with dual standby functionality. Under the dimensions of 132.0*67.5*9.25 mm, the handset packs an 1100 mAh Li-ion battery that is rated for up to 5 hrs of talk-time and 250 hrs of standby time.
Smart A66 comes with 100 gms of weight, sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and a 320*480 pixels resolution. It houses a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also boasts a VGA front shooter for video calling using Skype.
Karbonn Smart A66 can be purchased in White+silver or Black+silver variants. It is equipped with 256 MB of RAM and packs 512 MB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards. The connectivity options include 2G, dual-SIM, 3.5 mm audio jack, and FM Radio.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS as a highlight.
