Wiko has launched a new smartphone, dubbed Highway Signs. It can be purchased in Portugal for € 189.90 (About 236 USD or 14,800 INR).
The Wiko Highway Signs sports a 4.7-inch TFT IPS display with 1280×720 pixels HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-core Cortex-A7 processor and coupled with a Mediatek MT6592M chipset. The handset comes with a dual SIM slot (micro+nano), out of which nano-SIM slot can be used as a memory card slot (up to 32 GB).
The Highway Signs runs Android KitKat 4.4 OS with the help of 1 GB of RAM. It also has 8 GB onboard storage that is further expandable with up to 32 GB of memory card. The phone houses an 8-megapixel rear camera and also boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The primary camera features Auto Focus with Flash Light.
The Wiko Highway Signs boasts a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery rated for talk-time up to 14.16h (2G) / 8.33h (3G) and standby up to 230 hrs. Connectivity option includes dictaphone, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, micro-USB v2.0, hotspot, tethering, GPS and AGPS. It measures 138*68*7.6mm and weighs 124 gms. It also supports magnetic, accelerometer, proximity, and light sensors.
