Huawei is silently working on two new models to its Honor series of smartphones. The Huawei Honor 7 will be released in two variants – regular as well as high-end. As per the rumors, the regular version of the Honor 7 will be released in June, while the high-end version will reach the market in July.

Both new Huawei Honor 7 variants have been built using aircraft grade metal to wrap the powerful hardware. Both variants pack the same hardware except for the difference in storage and RAM.

The Honor 7 devices will feature a 5-inch 1080p display, and its own Kirin 935 mobile chipset will power that. The regular variant will boast 3GB RAM and 16 GB built-in storage, while the high-end one packs 4GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage.

Till now, it is not clear that the phone will have a memory card slot. Regarding camera specs, the Huawei Honor 7 houses 13 megapixels with LED flash and optical image stabilization at the rear. Both devices will run the company’s Emotion UI 3.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and are backed by a 3,280 mAh battery.

Although the images show a fingerprint sensor slot under the rear camera, however, there’s no confirmation on whether it will exist at the same place at the release. It is expected to be launched next month; the regular version is priced at CNY 1,999 ($322), while the high-end variant will go on sale for CNY 2,699 ($435).
