Swipe Technologies has launched a new tablet, dubbed as Swipe Ultimate. Notably, it is company’s first Windows 8.1 tablet.
The Swipe Ultimate features a 10.1-inch LED IPS (1280×800 pixels) touch screen display with with Zero Air Gap touch, 178-degree viewing angle, which is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core (Intel Atom) processor, alongside 2GB of RAM. It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. The tablet comes with a magnetic keyboard that has a touchpad, so you can use it as laptop.
The Swipe Ultimate also comes with free Microsoft Office subscription for one year. The main problem is that, it does not support SIM slot, so you need to connect a 3G dongle to use internal or you have to depend upon the WiFi. But, you can connect up to 1TB hard disks via its USB slot.
The Ultimate comes with 32GB of internal storage, but no word of expandable. The handset runs Windows 8.1 OS out of the box, under 256.4 x 171 x 9.5 mm dimension. It weighs 580 gms. In terms of connectivity options, it includes 3G (via dongle), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI and microUSB. It is backed a powerful 8000mAh battery, which offers 150 hrs of standby time.
The Swipe Ultimate comes in Black color and will be exclusively available through Flipkart with a price Rs 19,999.
Recently, the Swipe has launched Sense – a phablet with 5.5-inch qHD IPS display, 960 x 540 pixels resolution, 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, Dual SIM, Fingerprint Scanner and 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash.
