Starmobile Sky is available officially in the Philippines with a price of Php 3,890 (Roughly Rs 5400).
The new Starmobile Sky runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A7 processor with 512MB of RAM and clubbed with Mali 400-MP2 GPU @ 500MHz based on MediaTek MT6582 chipset. The smartphone sports a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display and features 3G HSPA+ 21 Mbps download speed.
The Sky comes with App Gesture that lets you launch applications simply by drawing a letter or a gesture on the touchscreen even while the display is turned off. You can also swipe two or three fingers on a blank area of your home screen to open apps or use a functionality. It also features Double Tap to Wake and Sleep.
Coming with 4GB of internal storage, the Starmobile Sky can be upgraded with an expansion slot. By measuring 125.7 x 64.6 x 10.99mm, the handset weighs only 128 gms. It supports Dual-SIM (WCDMA+WCDMA) and is backed by a 1600mAh Li-Ion battery rated to up to 200 hours of standby time or up to 5.5 hours standby time.
