The Galaxy Grand Prime smartphone has not been officially announced in India yet, but Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the phone will be available in India in 2 days with a price Rs 15,250. It supports 14 Indian languages and dual SIM also. It will be available in Black and White variant colours.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime sports a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and powered by an 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB with micro SD. The phone is running on the latest Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime houses an 8-megapixels rear camera with auto-focus and LED Flash, supports 1080p video recording. It also houses a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It measures 144.8×72.1×8.6mm and weighs 156 grams.

In terms of connectivity options, the device includes; 3G HSPA+21Mbps, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS+GLONASS. It is backed by a 2600 mAh capacity battery.
