Nokia has released another X series smartphone in the global market; Nokia X2 Dual SIM will be available at EUR 99 (roughly INR 8107).
On its official Conversations blog, Nokia has revealed that the Nokia X2 will be available immediately in selected countries globally; however, it has not listed the countries.
The Nokia X2 Dual SIM boasts a Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz of speed, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
According to the official website, the new Nokia X2 Dual SIM will be available in Glossy Black, Green, Orange, Dark Gray, White, and Yellow. The Nokia X2 now sports a translucent outer layer, reminiscent of the ones seen on Nokia’s Asha range of handsets.
The Nokia X2 Dual SIM sports a 4.3-inch (10.92 cm) ClearBlack WVGA (800 x 480p resolution) capacitive multi-touch screen display, features Brightness control, Tactile feedback, Orientation sensor, Nokia Glance screen, Scratch resistant glass, Double-tap to wake; has TrueColor (24-bit/16M) with 217 PPI.
The Nokia X2 houses a 5 MP rear camera with Auto-Flash with one-touch capture key, another side 0.3 Mega-Pixel VGA frontal camera is also available for video calling and selfies.
The Nokia X2 is backed by a 1800mAH powerful battery, rated to deliver maximum standby time with dual SIM up to 23 days, or maximum talk time in 2G network for 10 h, or maximum talk time in 3G for 13 hrs, or maximum music playback time for 86 h.
The Nokia X2 Dual SIM has a built-in 4GB internal ROM and can be expanded to 32 GB via an external microSD card. The manufacturer also offers 7 GB of cloud storage for free.
The Nokia X2 runs on the Nokia X software platform 2.0 OS out-of-the-box, offers FOTA (Firmware Over-the-Air) software update.
Measuring the Nokia X2; height 121.7 mm, width 68.3 mm, thickness 11.1 mm; weighs 150 gm. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) cellphone, offers dual 3G SIM with dual standby.
Micro-SIM, 3.5 mm audio connector, Micro-USB-B, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n are the main connectivity options in this Nokia X2 device.
The phone features Ambient Light, Accelerometer, and Proximity sensors. It comes with Power, Volume, Back, and Home operating keys.
Microsoft Mobile repeats that the all-new Nokia X2 can run Android apps and comes pre-loaded with the latest version of the Nokia Store that now incorporates third-party app stores.
