Microsoft Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 Launched in Gold Variants

Microsoft’s Nokia Lumia 830 and Nokia Lumia 930 were launched last year with aluminum frames and metallic accents. Now, the company has re-launched both smartphones with ‘anodized gold color.’ Microsoft has also confirmed that the Windows Phone 8.1-based Lumia 830 Gold, and Lumia 930 Gold models will only be available in Black and White color variants.

Microsoft Lumia 830The Microsoft Lumia 930 Gold and Microsoft Lumia 830 Gold will reach selected regions, including Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and China. However, in India, only the Lumia 830 Gold will be launched. The Lumia 930 Gold will reach the market by the end of this month, while the Lumia 830 will reach in February. The firm has not confirmed the prices yet.

The Lumia 830 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) ClearBlack IPS LCD with a pixel density of 296ppi, and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor powers the handset. It further includes 1GB RAM and houses a 10-megapixel PureView camera with LED flash. It is also backed by a 1-megapixel front-facing camera and 16 GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 128 GB (via MicroSD card). It packs a 2200mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Lumia 930 features a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixel) display with a 441ppi pixel of density and boasts a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC. It is further coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage. Housing a 20-megapixel PureView camera, it also packs a 1.2-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera. A 2420mAh battery backs it.
