In a press release on 28 Aug 14, LG has announced a new Smartwatch, the G Watch R, and will be available in the market (online and offline) with a tag price of 299 Euro.
The new LG G Watch R features a P-OLED display with 1.3 inches (about 3.3 cm) in diameter. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, waits with 4 GB storage, 512 MB RAM, and a 410 mAh battery.
The company also confirms that all compatible apps from the Google Play Store run smoothly on the device with Android Wear. Even one meter of water carries the G Watch R up to 30 minutes without any problems with their work. This is confirmed by the “Ingres Protection” certification IP67.
The LG G Watch R has a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor that puts users in a position to control their heartbeat. For this, they can rely on a suite of LG health and fitness apps. It also reminded the wearer of missed calls and messages, upcoming appointments, events and supplied him with regional weather forecasts.
With its refined aesthetics, the LG G Watch R offers the elegance of traditional watchmaking. The Android wearables display with its classic curves is surrounded by a strong and durable stainless steel case. With a touch on the screen, the user can select the dial of your choice in several ways. The elegant appearance is complemented by the removable, 22 mm wide bracelet in calfskin.

The LG G Watch R will be available in Germany from October at a recommended retail price of 299 euros, in black color.
