Presently the set Vu 3 is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The phablet launched in 2013 which has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 coupled with 2GB of RAM. If it happens, then definitely, the users of LG Vu 3 would not experience Android 5.0. The core hardware is decent enough to run Lollipop, but obviously, LG couldn’t quite refine its software.

LG declared that the Android Lollipop for the Vu 3 could not reach a stable state, and thus, the plans to release the Lollipop for it was not declared.

No additional details have been provided, but it may just be that LG is planning a jump straight to Android M for both LG Vu 3 and G3. Yet if that’s so, it means the flagship model of 2013 probably won’t be getting a big software update until next year. This situation could render LG Vu 3 owners quite impatient.
