Soon after launching its flagship phone LG G4, the firm has unveiled a new smartphone, the LG Band Play. The device will be available in South Korea’s homeland later this week with a price tag of KRW 394,800 (about Rs. 22,700 / US $356). It comes in Black and White color variants; however, there is no availability for other regions for now.

The LG Band Play is an Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone that sports a 5-inch IPS HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clubbed with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

The Band Play comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera that brings laser autofocus with a dual-LED flash. The smartphone also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats/selfies. The 16 GB eMMC inbuilt storage can also be expanded via an external MicroSD card (up to 32 GB).
