Lava Iris 401 with 4-inch Display and Dual-Core SoC in India Listed Officially

Lava Iris 401 is the latest entry-level smartphone from the company. It is listed on the company website without a price tag and its availability details.

The Lava Iris 401 features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor. It runs now-dated Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS out of the box, houses a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and also a VGA front-facing camera onboard.

The Iris 401 supports dual SIM with dual standby functionality, but only 2G on both slots. It comes with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32GB of MicroSD card. It is backed by a 1450 mAh battery that is rated for 9 hrs 40 minutes of talk-time.

The phone includes 2G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack, and FM Radio in terms of connectivity options. It measures 126 X 65 X 10.35mm, but no word about weight.
