Lava has introduced a new entry-level smartphone, dubbed as Lava Iris 100 Lite. It has been launched in India with a tag price of Rs 3049.
The Lava Iris 100 Lite sports a 4-inch TFT WVGA (480 * 800 pixels) display and supports dual-SIM with dual standby functionality. The 2G smartphone comes in black and white variant colors runs the oldest Android Ginger Bread OS out of the box. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor (Cortex A5), coupled with 256 MB of RAM.
The Iris 100 Lite houses a 2-megapixel rear camera with a Single LED flash and boasts a VGA (0.3MP) front-facing camera for video calling. The handset measures 123.6mm X 63.5mm X 10.9mm, and its weight is 100 gms. It is backed by a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery that is rated for 240 hours of talk-time.
The Lava Iris 100 Lite is equipped with 512MB of ROM, and the internal storage is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, and micro-USB. It also has a G-sensor.
