Finnish Jolla Smartphone has been launched in India with a price of Rs 16499 via Snapdeal.
A 1.4GHz Qualcomm Dual Core processor powers the new Jolla smartphone with 1GB of RAM. It is running on the company Sailfish OS which is based on Android. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32GB via an external microSD card. It sports a 4.5″ IPS qHD (960×540) display, has a 5-point multi-touch with Gorilla 2 Glass.
The Jolla sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, while the firm has added 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfie. It has a set of sensors like Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyro, E-compass, and Ambient light. It measures 131 x 68 x 9.9 mm and weighs 141 gms.
In terms of connectivity, the Jolla Smartphone includes; 4G LTE, single micro SIM, WLAN802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.0 EDR, AGPS & GLONASS, USB 2.0, micro-USB, 3.5mm 4-pin audio jack, and NFC. The phone is backed by a 2100mAh battery, which is according to the company, can deliver; 9 hrs talk-time in 2G, 10 hrs in 3G, and 500 hrs standby time.
Jolla is available in only white variant colors. The first 90 orders would get the VIP box with Other Half covers in Poppy Red, Keira Black, and Aloe colors.
