Intex has released a new smartphone, dubbed Aqua Power HD. It can be purchased in India for Rs 9,444.
Intex Aqua Power HD comes in white, black, blue, and grey variant colors that feature 3G connectivity. It sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels of resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor and coupled with a MediaTek MT6592M chipset.
The Power HD runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality. It has 2GB of RAM and boasts 16GB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32GB microSD cards.
The device houses a 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and packs a 5-megapixel front camera for video calling and selfie. It is backed by a 4000mAH Li-ion removable battery, which is the main highlight of this phone. The battery provides backup up to 20 hours as talk-time and up to 500 hrs of standby.
In terms of connectivity options, the Intex Aqua Power HD includes FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth V4.0, micro USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with an OTG cable that works as a power bank to charge another mobile. It has additional features like smart gestures and clear motion.
