IBall has launched a new Android-based tablet, dubbed Slide 3G Q7218. It is available online in India with a price of Rs 7299 through the eCommerce online website Amazon.
The iBall Slide 3G Q7218 runs Android v4.4 (KitKat) OS out of the box and is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core (ARM Cortex A7) processor, alongside 512 MB of RAM. It also comes with 8GB of built-in storage, further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards. The slate supports a single SIM slot but 3G connectivity with a voice calling facility.
The Slide 3G Q7218 sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800×480 pixels of resolution. In the HSPA+ network, the slate can provide download speeds up to 21 Mbps, while the upload speed limit is 5.76 Mbps. The handset measures 21.4 x 13.4 x 6 cm dimensions and weighs 640 grams. A 2500mAh Li-Ion battery backs it.
In terms of connectivity options, the iBall Slide 3G Q7218 includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, wire-free FM radio, and MicroUSBSB. It also supports the USB OTG function for Keyboard and mouse. Further, it houses a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera onboard. The camera features digital zoom, geotagging, touch focus, and video calling.
