Huawei Honor 6 Plus Launched in China, Starting at 1999 Yuan

A flagship smartphone from Huawei, the Honor 6 Plus is now official in China. It is available for pre-order in two SIM variant options. Dual-LTE model launched for 2499 Yuan (about 403 USD or Rs. 25,600), while LTE+GSM variant will be available for 1999 Yuan (Rs 20,500 or 322 USD).

The Huawei Honor 6 Plus features a big 5.5-inch HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS LCD and is powered by an Octa-Core (1.8GHz Quad Core+1.3GHz Quad Core) processor with HiSilicon Kirin 925 Chipset. It is further coupled with a Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0 on the top.

The Honor 6 Plus comes with 16GB (single LTE model) / 32 GB (Dual-LTE model) internal storage, but no details about expandable storage. It houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and houses an 8-megapixel front camera with Sony BSI Sensor, Auto-Focus, and LED Flash.

The Huawei Honor 6 Plus is backed by a 3600 mAH Li-poly battery under 150.46×75.68×7.5 mm dimensions, and the whole device’s weight is 165 gms. Connectivity options include FM Radio, WiFi dual-Band, DLNA, Bluetooth, micro-USB v2.0, hotspot, 3G, NFC (dual LTE model), GPS, and A-GPS. It supports a set of sensors G-Sensor, Proximity, Light, Accelerometer, and Compass.
