Today, HP has launched its budget voice calling tablet in India called the HP 7 VoiceTab (1351RA). It is priced at Rs 10,990 and is available on HP’s online store in white color.
The HP 7 VoiceTab supports single-SIM (Micro-SIM) and comes with voice calling support. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box and features a 6.95-inch (1024×600 pixels) capacitive multi-touchscreen display.
The tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382 Cortex-A7 processor with 1GB of RAM and coupled with 500MHz Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The HP 7 VoiceTab houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. It has 8GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Connectivity options on the HP 7 VoiceTab include 3.5mm audio jack, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS and USB OTG. The device measures 102.23 x 192.05 x 10.15 mm and weighs 305 grams. It packs a 3000 mAh battery Li-Po battery, which is rated for 10 hours of normal usage.
