Elephone has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as Elephone G9. It will be officially released on 31 May 2015; however, you can pre-book it for $80 (about 5000 INR) through 1949deal.
The Elephone G9’s main highlight is it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. The smartphone is also powered by an MT6735M 64 bit Quad-Core processor and coupled with 1GB of RAM. The built-in 8GB storage can be upgraded with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.
The G9 comes in black and white variant colors. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels resolution) IPS LCD touchscreen. Under 129.8mm*67.2mm*10.9mm dimensions, it houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and Flash Light. There is also a 2MP front-facing shooter is available for video calling/selfies.
The Elephone G9 supports 4G LTE-FDD 3/7/20 (800/1800/2600MHz) and LTE-TDD 40 (2300MHz) bands. It has a dual-SIM slot and is backed by a 1750mAh Li-ion removable battery. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, WiFi, GPS, FM Radio, and A-GPS.
